Currently Reading

Finally finished the Aeneid. Liked the Iliad and Odyssey better though. Im getting through the Divine Comedy at a snails pace like I thought I would, so I read Sir Gawain and the Green knight today. I really liked it, I think mostly because I really like the stories from this period, where european paganism is still floating around as the dust from Christianity's spread is settling. I would really like to learn more about it its so interesting :)

Currently watching:

These are my most damning pieces of evidence about I never finish everything. Im mostly rewatching stuff but Ill get halfway through LOTR then not watch movies for awhile, then restart trying to finish the trilogy. Same thing with FMA, ill start FMA then get near the end, then ill start FMAB and watch up to the point I watched FMA at, then try to finish FMA, its a total mess. Im a total mess.

Current projects

I was making this belt and belt sheath these last few months. These were both the first of these types of projects I ever did, and I had to get creative with them because Im cheap and dont like buying the proper tools lo. But the hardest part about the belt was dyeing it, I used vinegaroon to get a cheap, evenly black color that wont rub off. The knife sheath was tough Because I only had the basket weave stamp, I used coins to get every other shape. I also am not creative and overthought the design like crazy. I still have to blue the grooves in the tip of the belt so its darker in the grooves and it looks consistent. I am also restoring a vice I got from my uncle but im still making the jaws because the whole thing was so rusted the old jaws were toast. Ill add the picture here when im done.

I also am mkaing a drop bag for my brother, its gonna be a foraging back in reality but he will use it as a drop bag knowing him lol. Also I want a sword so bad, If I had it my way id get either rapier or a military saber. The saber is more realistic since when you to flea markets in the south you can sometimes find civil war sabers, Ive never seen any other legit type of sword for sale. I just dont want those mall ninja swords lol, id be happy with any really but rapiers, sabers, and any long ass sword is my favorite lololollolol. I love restoring and modifying stuff, and a sword would be the ultimate project for all my skills as well my entry into metal working. My dad loves metal working so it would be a cool thing to mess work with him on. Ive restored axes before but handles are a bit of a hassle to make, again mostly because im cheap lmao.

Actually shes really not that fat but shes a bit chubby and has that swinging belly some cats have. She just looks so fat ;(((. Shes very chill now though, and always meows back when I talk to her :D.
